About Me

“To understand the world, you must first understand a place like Mississippi.”

-William Faulkner

Hi! My name is Katy Ezelle!

I am Mississippi born and raised. I grew up in the small town of Decatur, but now I live in Ridgeland. I am 25 years old and live with my spoiled rotten Australian Shepard namd Tucker. I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling and trying new foods in my free time. My favorite places I have traveled to so far are Chianh Mai, Thailand, and Venice, Italy. I also enjoy attending SEC football and baseball games; I am an Ole Miss Rebel by heart. Hotty Toddy!

I will begin my third year of teaching this fall. I teach 5th grade science and social studies at Northshore Elementary School in Rankin County. I cannot wait to meet my new students this fall! Go NSE Cougars!

I am currently working on my Master's degree in Educational Curriculum and Instruction from Southern Miss!

Teaching is my passion, and the classroom is my second home. Working with children is such a blessing. I believe everyone is a life long learner!
